iMule 1.2.0

E' stata rilasciata la nuova versione iMule, la versione modifica di eMule che permette la connessione alla rete anonima i2p.

    * iMule now communicates with I2P by the SAM bridge (port 7656)
    * compiles by default without the internal I2P router, removing the need for gcj.
    * gcj still necessary (only) to compile the internal I2P router (configure --enable-irouter)
    * internal I2P router status window added
    * should solve the gc error on Windows. Tested under Wine.

    * Same improvements as v1.2.1 : new connection attempts don't block other transfers.
    * But this time, it has been TESTED !!! Everything is seemingly working (Windows/Linux, Internal/External router).
    * When you run the external I2P router, please make sure the SAM port IS NOT the same as the I2P router SAM port (usually: 7656) : go in Preferences->I2P Connection, and select for instance 7640.
    * If you try to compile from sources, pass the --enable-irouter option to the configure script, even if you do not intend to use the internal I2P router.

Short.

Advantage:

* Anonymous
* Uses the familiar interface of aMule.

Disadvantage

* SLOW (A lot slower since all traffic has to be routed over MULTIPLE nodes to get anonimity)
* You can only download from other imule users, not from amule or eMule users. i2p has no gateway nodes to internet like tor.

That is, if this mod words as the topic start suggests.

Anyway: it would be nice it it is mention in the readme that it is based on aMule (and what version of aMule)

EVEN WORSE:

since amule is GPL YOU NEED TO put the licence in this package. IT IS REQUIRED it is not an option. PLEASE READ THE GPL!

Tanto mi basta per -sinceramente- non calarmene più di tanto.

FIX: this was causing iMule to wait indefinitely for pending messages, because it was not notified : after a few kB, transfers were generally hanging.
