eh mica tanto, se ne leggono di cose brutte in giro riguardo il team di sviluppo emule, vanno sbattendo le porte in faccia ai modder, vedi cosa successo a xanatos per il nat-t.

no mi sta finendo la batteria al portatile, continuo dopo, cerco di rintracciare un caricatore

Why haven't you implemented NAT-Traversal? in Neo you have a fully working implementation of this even more important feature.

This will not be in the 0.48 release, hence it has only passive implementation but helps the debugging and testing process when implementing it on for the next release. It will not be only pure obfuscation but also some other security related changes too. Since i don't know of any problems with kad filtering yet, this is not of such a importance that it needs to be pushed into 0.48a at any price.

Why haven't you implemented NAT-Traversal? in Neo you have a fully working implementation of this even more important feature.

I think i already mentioned that i'm not sure if this will be put into the official eMule, because its not really needed as long as the percentage of LowIDs in the network doesn't reaches a critical limit. Also with UPnP we hope to reduce the amount of LowIDs a bit further.

I know that in the home environment Low ID's are not such a major problem, as many users have direct internet connections.
But when someone want do Filesharing from his university or corporation network this problem may become a major one becouse this networks often have firewalls denying incomming traffic, or NAT's. the way NAT-T works would allow to bypass any firewall that does not block UDP completly. The point is that such big networks usualy have a lot of upstream so the ed2k netwotk benefitys a lot from such users.

Mmmh avevo intuito, ma questa 48a non ho ben capito che obbiettivo ha, ora sto testando la beta2 ma sono molto tentato di tornare alla extreme.......
