would be great to have tooltip window like neo. below the settings panel a little box that always tell what you are adjusting.

english:
we already talked about it few months ago, taz said that to add tooltip isn't an easy way, it takes lots of code to define it, and it will waste resources.
so, it wasn't approved.

May I suggest a feature that enables SharkX to terminate itself if it "senses" another SharkX thread running?

It is kind of annoying clicking on the wrong icon and saying "D'oh, that thing is already up!!"

aMule creates a small file named "muleLock". If another aMule instance is opened and the file "muleLock" is present aMule kills the new instance, leaving the previous untouched. (This could lead also to some errors. If muleLock is present and there is no aMule instance running a cold reboot might have been happened. Restoring the app is as simple as deleting muleLock file.)

So, I was wondering if it could be possible to integrate a small "semaphore" that lits red when the user tries to open another SharkX instance.

Thanks for everything.

Traduzione:

actually thre is the option on Sharkx menu mod, "Allow multiple instances?", if it is disabled, no more istances than one will be created. Are you asking for a pop up message?

Ugh. Actually, it IS disabled, but it still does permit multiple instances here.

Love the random port on UPnP feature.
Would be awesome if something like Lancast was added.
it makes sharing files over a lan a lot easier when windows filesharing doesn't work.

welcome on our board

it has been discussed on official forum talking about other mods, the lancast is a special feature, and isn't on sharkx To do list (at least I never red about it). It's a special feature that only a few use, and for those users, I advise to use mod with this function (like Neomule)

I just tried the new version and noticed that the random port on UPnP feature is gone.
can this be brought back?

are you talking about Neomule or SharkX?

EDIT: I figured it out, you mean random gateway port.

I think that on Options > Connection you should active "Use UPnP to setup ports" to have random ports. But taz will explain it better... let's wait him
